La costa sur de Devon es un fantástico lugar para aprender inglés. Usarás tus nuevos conocimientos de inglés mientras descubres una zona típicamente inglesa aunque con un cierto aire del sur de Francia, ya que de hecho, muchos se refieren a ella como la English Riviera por su parecido a la Costa Azul francesa. Es un buen lugar para estudiar y también para disfrutar de tu tiempo libre: el sitio perfecto para unas vacaciones lingüísticas.
ISL Torbay se enorgullece de ser miembro de English UK y estar acreditada por el British Council para enseñar inglés como lengua extranjera. Durante su última inspección, las instalaciones fueron calificadas como “Punto de Excelencia” por el British Council.
Torbay en una conturbación que incluye los municipios de Torquay, Paignton y Brigham. Nuestra escuela y la mayoría de las familias que acogen estudiantes están en Paignton.
Para Agatha Cristie la zona era perfecta para descansar y de hecho pasó allí, al igual que muchas personalidades, gran parte de su vida. Es un lugar de vacaciones muy inglés y por eso la mayoría de los visitantes son locales. En verano se convierte en un animado lugar donde coinciden turistas ingleses y estudiantes de muchas parte del mundo.
Además de las clases regladas por el BRITISH COUNCIL, los estudiantes tienen un interesante programa de actividades deportivas, culturales y sociales por las tardes y por las noches. A eso hay que añadirle visitas a lugares de interés en la zona de Torbay, y ademas se hacen excursiones de día entero a Plymouth o Exester
